My name is Valentin, and I’m a software engineer based in Switzerland.

Currently doing OS development at a FAANG, however I’m also interested in machine learning, NLP, data engineering, … As a technie, I’m curious by nature and therefore this list is never really complete anyway.

So, I’m starting a blog. Here you will find semi-professional and unsolicited thoughts and opinions, and maybe the occasional rant. Looking to spark some interesting discussions with more knowlegable people than myself, and also acquire a nice writing style.

Other than your typical SWE thoughts, I might also write about other stuff that interests me, be that mindfulness & mental well-being, crypto & securities trading, movies & video games, fitness & diets, travelling & vacations, or anything else.

Opinions are my own, and as this blog supposed to be a passion project, so we’ll see what comes out of it… :) ✌️
